"And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?" - NLT

We recognize that we live in a real, and practical world. The phrase "real and practical world" is important, because many people struggle with connecting their faith from above with the realities that confront us in the real world. "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."
- Matthew 5:14-15 (NIV).
A ministry in service of:
Wisdom is a shelter...Ecc 7:12
Jesus final recorded prayer, before going to the cross, included these words; "I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one--as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me." Jesus desire for His followers was unity. Unfortunately, the Christian world has become highly disunified. Much of the disunity has sprung from set one group's theology up against another's so that theological, and academic stones can be thrown at each other. We would suggest that this disregards Jesus prayer, the heart of God, and is disrespectful.
Therefore, we keep our theology simple, and to the point, as follows:
We strive to be pleasing to the heart of God, as per the 'Greatest Commandments.' (Mat 22:35-40)
God is supreme — we are not. God is all knowing — we are not. God knows what we do not know — we do not. (Isaiah 55:9)
In other words, if His Word indicates that something is important, let us put aside our arguments and divisions, and simply be obedient.
